Two standards in the cotton packaging industry passed the examination

       According to the standard formulation task issued by the National Cotton Processing Standardization Technical Committee, the supply and marketing cooperation industry standards of "polyethylene bagging for cotton packaging" and "pneumatic welding machine for cotton packaging" drafted by Nantong Yufeng Plastic Steel Packaging Co., Ltd. and China Cotton Association Cotton Processing Branch have recently passed the expert review meeting in Beijing, and will be promulgated and implemented before the new cotton is put on the market this year.

With the implementation of the reform of the cotton quality inspection system, new cotton packaging materials polyester strapping tape and polyethylene bagging have been widely used in cotton producing areas across the country. Due to the GB 6975-2007 "Cotton Packaging" standard collecting less technical parameters of new packaging materials, there are still some technical problems in the production and use of packaging materials and strapping belt supporting welding equipment, which also brings certain difficulties to the testing and identification work. To this end, packaging material R & D enterprises and related units have completed the formulation of industry standards for new materials and equipment in three years after careful summary, repeated certification and continuous improvement.

GH/T1068-2010 "Polyester strapping tape for cotton packaging" has been promulgated, and the strapping belt welding equipment and polyethylene bagging standards have subsequently passed the examination, marking that China's new cotton packaging materials have entered a comprehensive standardized stage in the production, inspection and other quality links. The formulation and implementation of this series of standards will help improve the quality of cotton packaging, reduce the damage and whiteness of cotton bales, reduce the packaging cost of ginning enterprises, improve the shape and Chinese of cotton enterprises, promote the upgrading of cotton packaging industry, improve cotton logistics efficiency, and enhance the international competitiveness of China's cotton.
